Chinese Cuisine

Hotpot has been around in China for over 1,000 years. It used to be only eaten during the winter, but now it is being served all year round. It is a healthy and nutritious meal since all the nutrients are released into the broth.

We served two different kinds of hotpots at our restaurant, which include the Sichuan Hotpot and the beef hotpot in Hong Kong.

Sichuan Hotpot

Sichuan Hotpot- beef, Pork, or Chicken bones, ginger, scallion, bay leaf, garlic, Chinese black beans, chili, and Sichuan spicy bean paste.

Beef Hotpot in Hong Kong-  noodles, beef, cabbage, mushrooms, tuna, kelp, leeks, radish, sesame seeds, pepper, onions, shallots, white sugar, garlic, sesame oil, and lemon


Bao Zi Dumplings

Bao Zi Dumplings are the general type of dumplings, and they are very healthy. They are made with a thick wheat dough shaped like a bun. The bun is steamed, but the fillings for the dumplings may vary based on what the customer wants. Most often, it is filled with vegetables and meat.

Chow mein

Chow mein is stir-fried noodles that consist of noodles, meat, onions, and celery. The meat can be either (chicken, beef, shrimp, or pork.) 


It isn’t clear who exactly made the first chow mein, it is known to have originated in China. Chow Mein was brought to the US in the 1850s, by Chinese immigrants.

Peking Roasted Duck

 It is a famous dish from Beijing, it is one of China’s national dishes. The Peking duck has thin, crispy, and delicious skin.

The Peking Roasted Duck used to be a royal dish in medieval China and was later spread to civil society. 

 

In our restaurant, the Peking Roasted Duck can be served, either with soy and mashed garlic, pancakes, or sweet bean sauce. 

Japanese Cuisine

Ramen

Ramen is noodles served in a meat or fish-based broth. They are flavored with soy sauce or miso and uses toppings such as sliced pork. Nearly every region in Japan has its variation of ramen, such as the tonkatsu.

Sushi

A traditional Japanese dish of prepared vinegared rice, usually with some sugar and salt, accompanied by various ingredients such as seafood, often raw, and vegetables.


Tempura

Tempura is a Japanese dish of fried fish, seafood, and vegetables. Tempura can be eaten with a dipping sauce like people often do around the Kanto region. People may also dip it in salt; this is something that people living around the Kansai region do.

Gyoza

Gyoza is Japanese Dumplings; it is wrapped in thin dough and filled with ground pork and vegetables. Gyoza originated in China but has become a popular dish in Japan.

Korean Cuisine

Kimchi

Kimchi is made with various fermented vegetables. Kimchi means pickled vegetables. The ingredients include cabbage, scallions, or radishes in a brine with garlic, ginger, chili pepper, and fish sauce

Bibimbap

Bibimbap is a Korean rice dish. It is served on a bowl of warm white rice topped with gochujang, soy sauce, or doenjang. Additions can be made, such as a raw or fried egg, and sliced meat. The hot dish is stirred together thoroughly just before eating. 


Bulgogi

Bulgogi is a gui made of thin, marinated slices of beef or pork grilled on a barbecue or a stove-top griddle. Typical cuts of the meat are Sirloin, rib eye, or brisket.

If the customers desires, we may also add white rice.

Chap Chae

Chap Chae is Korean stir-fried noodles; it is a popular dish in Korea.  The main ingredients of the plate include Korean glass noodles, vegetables, and meat.
